ROUTER PROMLEM high latency i need help!!

I have a router over here and i want to play online against some buddies. What do i have to change on my router to make this work. I have a netgear router. Thanks for helping. Please let me know!

and alll u have to do to play is sing on ur internet leave it up and running and minamize it then go into sc go to multiplayer hit ok and ull sing on bnet!
