Router help

Hello everyone, I just bought a router a couple of days ago, and cant get it to work. I bought it to play online with my xbox up at my university. Its a linksys wireless G router. Any help would be great.

Did you follow the instructions? Have you called the Linksys tech support yet? Easiest way to install a router if you don't know what you're doing is have a techie run you through it over the phone.

Make sure it's configured for being setup as a switch, not a gateway router.

It's been awhile since I've set one up though. I'll try googling around for some tutorials for you when I get off of work.

i always assumed it worked both ways. its so much simpiler if u ask around campus tbh
