I haven't read up on what all is new for this one, but the looks of it are much better than the other two. The camera angle is free moving, so you can get as close or as far away as you want. Up close you can see that each person is individually different from everyone else, probably won't have two pple alike in the park. There's a camera view to let you see the guests view while inside the rollercoasters and other rides.

Like Sims2, I'm probably going to hate RC3 because of the 3D view and free camera moving angle. The Sims 2 free camera moving angle thing annoyed me because sometimes I wanted to be directly above the house.(Well, I haven't figured out how to do that)

I have a good computer, I just don't have a good video card. In fact, I don't even know my video card. I tried looking for the video card name under the device manager, but all I got was "SiS" with a large number after it as my video card name. If that's the video card, then my video card is really bad because it's bad for The Sims 2.

One other turn down is, the game's developer is different. Atari, not Chris Sawyer(which I believe is Infogames).

I'll give it a try...

I liked 2, and abhorred 1.

Drowning the entertainers was always amusing, lol. Just something about seeing a oversized panda costume drowning...
I noticed that the guests interact with the entertainers if you have them in the park. THe entertainer will dance around and the guests will stop and watch him. When he's done they'll all laugh and clap at him.

me and frenk played that for a long time. Its better than the other two; you can ride your rides, but it still will get boring after a while.

I don't know if I'll llike the Free-Angle Camera (hence why I saw no need to buy Sims2), but I'll try it.

I'll give it a try, on my lousy 56k :) I played the first one a lot and loved it, I don't care what you guys say. I don't remember ever playing the 2nd one sadly...but I think I might even buy this one if I enjoy it enough :) Then Frank and I will have something to talk about.

Sorry for the double post, but I want to make sure my question is seen and answered :D

I bought RCT2 today...what is the difference between it and the first one now? It's the freaking same except for it has Six Flags rides...

RC2 is basically an expansion. They just added more of everything from RC1.
I found RC2 a couple weeks ago and I decided to install it. But it ****ed up on me and said a file could not be retrieved from the CD. Damn scratches.

I liked one but then the phase of interest died.

Yea, to all who buy it, I'm definatley doing it, but as you may (or may not) know, my site is all about the games, so I'm almost required to.

As a big amusement park/theme park/coaster lover (I truly mean this), I love anything to do with them. I even rpint out pictures and draw coasters. I am a coaster nerd.

I'm not sure if I will like the second sequel. I tried the demo and it almost seemed too graphical to get anything done, as strange as that sounds.

I went to Wal-Mart yesterday. Yes, Halloween Eve. And I saw 12 RC2 sitting there in the shelf. At first, I thought it was the Demo, but it had a bar code in the back. I wanted to ask the person that works there if these RC2's were demos but he was too busy hitting on girls.

I'm getting the demo right now, it looks sorta cool, but I dunno how graphics intensive this will be.

Atari decided to ship the game out a week early, last Tues (Oct.26), but I waited before buying my copy. After giving it a few days, RCT3 has turned out to be very buggy and according to the official RCT3 forum users an overall huge disappointment. They have all been hoping for a quick patch, and one will be released on Nov. 3rd. Apparently everyone was complaining about the park guests (peeps as their called in RCT3) not getting in any of the waiting lines for the park rides. There are way too many bugs/problems to list here. For those who did buy it, hopefully the patch on Wednesday will make most of the bugs go away.
