Request SMITER Guide

I have looked all over the web and I have not found a COMPLETE smiter guide. I have found threads and posts offering tips and ideas for a good smiter but I need a complete guide. If anyone will be so kind as to post a guide I would appreciate it.

p.s. this guide must be strictly for pvm, preferably just for ubers.

Skills are the same..

Stats: Same

Gear:
Helm: Kiras (66) (Shaeld)
Weapon: Asterons (shaeld)
Sheild:I use E Exile (vortex) BUT i have tried up'd Hoz w/Ber and it worksGreat
Armor CoH Ap BUT first i use treachery and get fade casted, then i switch back to coh
Boots: Gores
Gloves: Drac's (no Q's here)
Rings: Carrion(because of teh 10% dmg taken goes to mana), Bk
Ammy: Metal grid(def. Res.) OR Seraphs(skills).
Switch:cta , lidless (spirit reqs.to much str. and when ur glitched thats not a good thing.)

Another Build:

Stats:
Only enough to wear gear (Use 20 stat anni & 20 stat torch!)

Skills:
20 holy shield
20 defiance
20 fanat
20 smite
Put the rest wherever (1 charge, 1 salvation)

Helm: CoA (ber,ber)
Armor: Chains of Honor
Belt: Dungos (best one u can find)
Ring1: 20 Dex Ravenfrost
Ring2: Rare/Crafted With as much dex/str as you can find (I think mine is 19dex 10str)
Shield: E Vortex Exile
Gloves: I use crafted with IAS and Dex
Boots: Perf Dex/Str Treks (Eth is a bonus!)
Ammy: Seraphs
Weapon (PVM): Last Wish Phase Blade
Weapon (PVP): Grief Zerker or PB if you hate repairs.
Switch: CTA & Spirit


My setup is a bit different from the above..
Note I do not use Gores or Dracs in this build, I replaced them with a last wish phase blade because it has plenty of CB and lifetap. The gloves with dex on them are important as the more you can put on gear the less stat points you need to spend, also since CoA requires soo much strength its good to pick it up wherever you can.

Stats after Gear

This setup leaves you armored like a tank with over 2500 life at level 84, note nice resists (I do have a few 5% all res sc's)
With a little more than 60% block.

Exile Vortex (Killer Def & Lifetap)
Call to Arms (BO)
Spirit shield (+skills for BO)
Chains of Honor (+skills and killer mods)
Gore Riders (for Crushing Blow)
Guillaumes (for Crushing blow)
Draculs (for lifetap)
Dungo (DR, life regen)
Soj, Bk, Raven (any combination)
Maras or Metalgrid (if you cant afford Exile and have max resists)

Merc: (optional-not for Ubers)
Act 2 Normal Might (Combat)
Gaze (for DR)

Yes very good but i have to say Ber Ber Coa is better for a helm

That would work too, I choose do do more damage, rather then take less damage. Technically if done well enough, you wount have any problems with taking damage, since you will stun your target. Less time it takes to kill something the less your a target to get hit in my eyes.

On a modest 2k damage, if my math is right, 35% CB is an extra 700 damage. To where a damage reduction of 16% from the same 2k damage is a potential 320 damage not taken. If you take damage at all. Remember, with Holy shield and Exile, your def is insanely high. Yes I understand you can get hit from a distance, but that is what max resist is for ... right? Not to mention lifetap should kick in every couple of hits, that will regen the life with no problem ... as long as it isn't undead.

DR of 16% or 35% CB, it's all personal preference and playing style. Yes the +1 skill is good, but, depending on your damage, it might do less then the crushing blow. Either or is still good, I choose more damage though.
