you can turn it off...if u have new hardware that are vista supported, it works fine. Works fine to me.i keep imagining what windows is gonna be like in the future..
like popups coming up over icons telling you how to double click, health and safety windows always popping up to remind you that banging your head on the monitor hurts, or reminders telling you to wipe your ass and wash your hands if it senses youve just taken a dump..
I run KDE (essentially Ubuntu, 7.04) and it makes Windows look shameful. A slow computer runs faster than Windows on a faster computer - that's how bad it is.I've had Vista for the better part of 7 months and it runs much smoother than XP, and it's features mean I don't want to go to any other OS.
and who the hell uses IE?
i was talking more about how the company as a whole automaticly thinks anyone using their software knows f all about computers and feels its necesary to hold their hand and walk them slowly, bombarding you with wizards and popups and limitations when youre doing anything as half complex as trying to turn off their crappy firewall.you can turn it off...if u have new hardware that are vista supported, it works fine. Because the entire world isn't computer illiterate, and despite the normal person doesn't really have an alternative, Windows NEEDS to cater to these people or it loses it's core users completely.i was talking more about how the company as a whole automaticly thinks anyone using their software knows f all about computers and feels its necesary to hold their hand and walk them slowly, bombarding you with wizards and popups and limitations when youre doing anything as half complex as trying to turn off their crappy firewall.
Do you know how frustrating it is for older people to accidently click something and without warning something happens you had no intention of happening. Not everyone using a computer is young, and not everyone knows exactly what they need to be doing.'are you sure you want to do this?'
naaaahh i just clicked it for a laugh..
