Replay problems?

Upon viewing multiple replays, I've come across many instances in which each player doesn't seem to be doing anything, letting their minerals sky rocket until eventually a player just leaves. I'm talking about replays from WGT, games with Chojja. Is there something wrong with the replay, maybe my version of brood war, or are these similar to free wins? Anyone else come across this? Or maybe I'm all alone...

Are those reps 1.12? If not, then there's your answer. Then there's the possibility that these reps mess up because of the zerg. You can download program that allows you watch reps vers 1.08-1.11, except I don't have it.

You have older replays. Like Phoenix said, you can download something to watch them. Btu why bother. What pisses me off is that you can't rewatch the conversation. Its all about the conversations sometimes.

Well they do come from WGT and I think the highest version the replays go is 1.11. Is there a way to view what the players say? I dl some penguin program from these forums but it doesn't load for me.

You can record what people say yes, but not in replays. Which totally sucks. Most of the replays I would save are because of the conversations that we have together.

I would suggest looking in the SC hacking forums. I'm sure they'll have what you need.

Surely you don't suggest I step foot into the forums of ill repute?? I can't be seen in there! I'd rather watch emotionless replays and pretend that the loser is too sore to say "gg" at the end...

Well,
there is a difference between using hacks online playing against others and using them to watch replays.

Are there any replays of the people actually playing? I'd like to see what these pro gamers can really be typing to have 300 APM in the first few minutes. I can have identical starts up to the first 5 minutes or so in half the APM so where's all those extra actions come from?? It boggles the mind...
