Well Iknad and I just finished playing about a 1 hour long Altered SC game after Wing and Ryan left.
Basically Iknad early on built sunkens outside my base after I made a failed rush attempt with rines. It started getting to the point where I knew it was going to be over pretty fast unless I found a way to catch up to his experience.
After a quick raid on Ryan's old base (he left early in the game due to messed up mouse <THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU GET A MAC>) I then used my range and level 1 infantry upgrades to attack wing successfully.
Fortunately I was able to get enough experience to upgrade my army to Goliaths, and made a long push across the map from my base all the way to Iknad's killing lines of sunkens at a time.
There wasn't one single break in his sunken defense as he had built them all the way from his base to mine, and he managed to get to level 20 experience before I hit 9. Though I kept pushing.
With 5 expos, and factories constantly pushing out Goliaths, I kept him on the defensive, and made it nearly impossible for him to tech without losing major ground.
It was long fought, and every counter he made for me, I quickly adapted. Definately one of those great moments Mike and I still play for.
UMS replays are pretty ****ed up lately it seems, and never accurate, though I did get screenshots of the final stats page.
... Pretty ****ing nuts...
