well i might remake him but my question is
is there a way to make my din move close to the player so i can hit him?

Charge can toss you right next to them, and if you actually hit them you ca start smiting right afterwards.

smiters are never gunna fight casters, at least without their absorb gear, so just wait till a melee person comes to you and smite away.
and charge bug still exists, so its not recommended

unless charge bug happens RIGHT before your about to charge towards your enemy its easily avoidable; plus you'll get more damage that way

you just use the switch trick in town before each duel (you might as well because you prolly got a cta on switch...)

yep ive got a charge/smiter...just charge up to casters and kill them 1 hit OR charge them and while they are stunned just own them with 1 smite.. They might tele alot but with 90 all resists and absorb its a matter of time before they make a mistake and then BANG DED!!!
Too easy
