This game was addicting. Now counter-strike : source came up, i nevered play.

1. Mfing takes way to long, even with bots.
2. Gay people play.
Examply :

ME: u got amn thul?
noob: yea
me: heres wat i got - i show 4 jewels +5 to damage lvl 3 req...
noob: LOL
noob: GTFO!! OMG ****ING NOOB!! ROFL!!!
me: WOW UR ****ING GAY
noob: ROFL
Noob has left the world...

3. Trading is very hard now since there are scammers.
4. Its soo pointless because its filled with retarded people playing..

Trade, play, and quest with friends. That's one of the only legitimate ways to access ant true fun in Diablo II these days. Either that or play Mods. From my experience atleast those two work well.

my only problem with d2 is that sometimes my bot gets a temp ip ban.

i dont play, i let my laptop play for me and then sell the shit on ebay for gas money....(some gas money, anyway)

I still play, but I have made a few friends on the net (Bnet and otherwise) That I trust to play with. Had someone mule my Tal set and actually got it back!

I don't understand why you guys "play" this game.. and when I say play I mean "use programs that play for you." And while what Darkmatter said was accurate (That the only way the game is probably fun is questing with friends) why bother when you can play Guild Wars? And if you're computer can't handle Guild Wars, you should try out Warcraft III .

I've also noticed a lot of negative threads about this game as of late.. I guess it's finally started to reach the bottom of the deep end.

I figure it would take a great deal of time and inner-struggle for one to realize that no matter what you do, Diablo II still sucks. It's dying and nothing short of a new patch, actually no. Not even a new patch could save it from decaying like Diablo 1 did.
