Realm Down Purpose?

What is the purpose of Realm Down. Was it created to piss people off while Blizzard laughs?

It has a purpose, and while this may surprise you, it's not to piss you off. What it's original duty was I'm not 100% certain, however I know from expirence it happened whenever I got "Your Connection has been Interrupted" so I assume it's when your connection goes haywire.

Now I only hear complaints of RD when people create games to fast....

Bottom line: To seriously recude realm downs, don't run Pindle 500 times for 30 seconds each...

Its what happens when a realm goes down. Either something is wrong with the server at Battle.net or something is wrong with your connection to the server.
