Greetings Battleforums. Wc3 live on, yay. Well with Ntrik's retirement I have been upgraded to the new staff member. I welcome you Warcraft Network, the 2nd most popular Wc3 Forum existing.
Here is how our sections work:
General Discussion: Post anything about Warcraft I, II, III or FT. It can be like what is the story behind the orcs and Durator or if you have problems liek connections or firewalls and such. If it involves firewalls and ports, feel free to post in the tech forum too.
WE WILL NOT SUPPORT ANY POSTS ABOUT HACKING, CD KEY ASKING/GIVING, MAPHACK ASKING, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. Your response will be closed and possibly account banned if you dare to break this rules. Also, any links or emails will be removed from the post.
The only exception to the CD key rule is if you ask for a CD Key viewer. That is useful if you lost the case or anything like that.
Strategies: Discuss things about how to play Warcraft Melee or ask for any good hero strategies. Check out Corts Sticky for some strategy guides, we are constantly updating them as best as we can. This is a good place to get information on various topics.
Customs: This is where you discuss strategies about custom maps like DOTA or ask for downloads like DOTA 6.15 and X Hero Siege and such.
WE WILL NOT ALLOW THREADS OR POSTS that discuss how to unprotect maps or unprotect awesome maps like DOTA and Xhero.
Map Development: Where you can get information on how to build maps and trigger information. Please state your problem and possibly the copy of the map so we can further help you with your problem. We will 100% guarantee that we will not use your map for our own personal gain. Also, no plagarism is allowed on Battleforums, that better be of your own work.
Screenshots and Replays: Post Screenshots and Replays about Warcraft III. The Replays must be workable with 1.19b and can be of any type (melee, dota etc.). If its a custom no1 has, it is recommended that you also host the map in the same post if you can. Also, discussion in these threads must remain on topic. For example, if its a replay about how hunts > rifles (its possible), you can discuss about where the rifles went wrong and such.
Well that's it for our site map. We have had problems with people asking for CD KEys recently and such and people don't read our precious announcements. For that is the reason why our dont dos are in red
. If you got any problems, PM a moderator or me with your issues. However, I do not appreciate insults either when you PM.
Also, all posts are under rules of Battleforums. So you cannot spam, flood, troll, flame etc. We want to make your experience fun and worth it, not slap a big BANNED! in red under your username (we lose many warcraft people this way, even more than WoW).
Also if you have advertisements for a clan or something, they belong in the Advertising Section (Forums and Clans). The only advertising we will allow is if it is a map you made and you want us to download it. IF you wish go to battleforums.com/maps and host it there in the proper section.
