Disney makes animated films.
Pixar makes CGI films. Of course Pixar owns.

CGI is animation, and Disney does CGI as well, they just suck at it.

I haven't seen the third Shrek. I'll probably see it at some point, and probably laugh and have a good time watching it, but I'll hate it on principle.

Disney owns Pixar now...

If it takes you 2 plus years to make a movie in CGI you are gonna make DAMN sure its gonna have a classic script... Great for kids, but funny enough for old people to enjoy it with some adult humor and references that kids have no idea what are about.

Amen to that. Although Pixar stuff does that too...just saw the first Shrek again on TBS, and the adult humor pops up in that too. Damn near anything with Eddie Murphy is going to have adult humor.

Yeah, I think they just collaborate on the popular CGI films, which is why it's always said "Disney Pixar".
