Winzip is for losers
Actually, I use PowerArchiver 2006. It covers lots of file types and it's powerful.

Well, to unRAR just click on Extract... If you want to make a RAR I don't have it on my computer but it should be something like right-click the files > compress to .rar.

7-zip is a good free one. It has about the best compression you can get. Here is more free ones tugzip izarc zipgenius. All of them are free and can open rar files. If you ever want to compress something I suggest you use 7-zip. It is very good and is free and has the best or near the best compression, way better than rar or zip.

Windows has a unzipping program built into it. Why not just use that?
