Random Team Colors

Well....

i was testing some things and then i used
X-editor 2.5 in Special mode...
now.. that map keeps generating random/different
colors for my team(s) when im playtesting...

not that it's a big deal... but.... how i set the colors
back ??? i was looking around and i still cant' find anything
that allows me to set me color right....

i even went back to save the map under classic mode.
i can't go back to Base Mode cuz some buildings will probably
disappear.

so... how do i set my team colors?

Use programs like StarForge or SCMDraft 2 to change colors. Once you change colors with those editors, don't open up the map with SCXE because it will revert back to the default color.
If you need help with StarForge or SCMDraft 2, post back.

Go to the Forces section, and uncheck all the Random Start Location boxes.

For setting the colors from that point, I advise using GUEdit 3.6

ahhh... yes... the Random Location.

umm... well... so i guess the last thing i can is
either place and assign illegal commands with the "Special Mode" from StarXtra

-OR- change color assignments with another prog??

can i possibly do both?

im at the stage where im beginning to consider what i have to do

You're going to want to change color assignments with an outside program.

It requires Java RunTime Environment, which there is also a link to on that site.

GUEdit does basically everything you'll want to do when your map is finished.. change colors, set upgrades, protect it, whatever you need
