I might be involved in the creation of a mechwarrior themed game, which I would be happy to have hosted as a direct service for the forums.

Just seeing if anyone would be interested in playing/testing, more details later as concepts are fully developed.

As things stand, it'll be text based. Unfortunately. However, you can start with a "starting package", a mech with it's base gear. Nothing fancy. Slowly train as a mech pilot, and upgrade your mech with more suitable equipment for the situation.

So far it's in concept. But I'm looking forward to really starting.

It should be enjoyable, and won't rape your registry. Most things will be handled and stored server side, so it won't even take much space on your comp.

If interested in helping test, just say so. This will, naturally, be a free to start/play service provided.

Entirely. It's about killing things. Usually infantry things.

And if your mech develops enough interest, you will be able to set it up as a standard mech type.
