This is a newer version of runeWord helper!

It now shows the Stats for the runewords.
(I am adding uniques now too)
It also has a error function ...meaning it won't just close if u enter the name wrong.

1.)Double Click the Rune.ExE
2.)Enter the name of the Runeword u want to make
3.)Use the info displayed to make the runeword

The runewords u need to enter are in sort form(EX. call to arms is CTA).
If the Runeword is only one word Such as BLACK u put black ( Of course).

Great Work! This is a great start to becoming a 1337 Diablo 2 coder (netter). Keep up the good work, I think I will find this very useful.

Wonderful work, would it be possible in a future date to include a drop down list of all the possible runewords available and then allow us just to click on it and then a little something something (meant to put something twice by the by) pops up or under or diagonally that shows the stats because I certainly can't remember all the names of the runewords. Once again, great job.

i downloaded this program and its pretty neat

instead of browsing arreat summit (which doesn't take a long time with broadband), i could look for what i need.

although the functionality should be improved

i mean you should be able to get results from using both the common abbreviations and the entire word.

ie botd, and breat of the dying, and notes like "e" stands for ethereal...
but still neat

yea but it esayer to just have it on bar then waitin for web page anit it

Yea, that is a pretty useful application. I always find myself having to go to Arreats Summit to look up runewords. It gets annoying after a while. Good job. You should make a Webapp like that. It would be even better. And less of a security risk. No offense.

Maybe suggestions in the future of V3?

- Not just runewards but items?
- nice gui
- and maybe some character thingy, like, sections that show paladin items, then, barb... etc

Syn I think what people like about the idea in general is not having to scroll for 15 pages to find what they are looking for, since the author intends to add uniques and presumably sets just typing or grabbing the name or an advanced search feature would be quite a bit faster than scrolling through page upon page of data. Being able to search for every unique throwing dagger or every item that gives any sort of elemental damage would be quite useful.


Not to try to steal anyones thunder here but if anyone is intrested on working on a web application like this, I would be glad to host it on my server and do the nessacary coding to perform searches and input/retreive data. Real life does not afford me the time to take screenshots and enter 900 uniques/sets/runewords into a database.

But anyways If anyone wants to work on a project like this with me please let me know.
