If you play as Human, and start out with a Paladin from the "random hero" setting, would you level up the Paladin or switch to another hero?

If you do play as Human vs. Undead and level up the Paladin to lvl 6 and get Resurrection, would you consider saving your mana for Resurrection or just using the Paladin for the Holy Light w/Dvn.Shld ?
Or generally in a very long team game, is it a big priority to level up a Paladin for get Resurrection?

In a team game, I wouldnt mind having Paladin as a hero, however in a solo, I would hate to have Paladin as my first hero in solo.. hes like DK, but slower.

Generally tho, AM or MK is the first hero for HU...

I enjoy the paladin's help. Heals damage, does decent damage, and easy to micro with Divine Shield's help. However, as Ntrik brought up, its more suited for more team games or as a second hero to save your first. Devotion helps make any unit more harder to kill, but not really that hard. Things like Knights or Breakers will be more tougher meat for your range and casters with Devotion's help. Thier 9-11 armor (at Mithril Plating) will become 13.5-15.5, thats enough to reduce almost 50% damage.

Paladin is a great hero especialy against UD where he becoems offensive. a MK+pally + BM can do well over 1000 damaage with thier combined nuke spells to undead.

Humans have a nasty way of saying to undead, "We are going to nuke you ^^"! Paladin adds to the pain when the enemy is under banish, since the heal does 66% more damage and the other spells also recieve the same benefit.

Paladin is more helpful around a non-undead ally for a first hero. I usually use him as a second hero if I am alone, or I took a neutral hero.

I love hte pally. heros never seem to wanna die. plus an AM can give a apally unlimited heal. your ****ing heros can't die. pally beomes invulnerable and can heal the AM indefinately.

Humans are ****ing strong if you know how to play.
