Quick Launch?

I was deleting things in the recycle bin, and I accidently hit restor on some things. Now this Icon is in quick launch, the default "windows cant reconigze this file" type of file. I cant delete it. It says "cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source disk or file. I went to the folder it was supposed to be in but it wasnt there. so I tried moving it there. Same message.

So I was wondering if there is a way to delete things without having the source file. Becuase the stupid icon is making my desk
all ugly.....

Help would be much appreciated...

In XP/2000, run taskmgr and terminate the process explorer.exe then go to File > Run. Run cmd. The go to this:

Remember the name of the file.

C:\Documents and Settings\106218\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

cd..
cd..
cd Docume~1
cd your username
cd Applic~1
cd Micros~1
cd Intern~1
cd Quickl~1
del filename
