Hi, I follow the guide to run multiple copies of diabloii. But I keep getting "The CD KEY you enter was intended fo another product" msg when i run a copy install via the cdkey-changer. I am sure those keys are valid as i can run them on my other computer. I tried 3 sets and they all say the same thing. Pelase help

Are you sure that when editing your .reg file you put them without dashes (1234-5678-9012-3456 is wrong while 1234567890123456 is right) and then you run the .reg file?

here is the exact step i did.

1 download all the files
2 extract cd key changer
3 copy cd key changer and it's files to the Diablo ii directory
4 edit reg file with the new D2 and D2 EX cd key (which both are working on another computer and I am not log on with that key) and change the cdkey.mpq field to cdkey1.mpq
5 run the reg file.
6 now run the cd changer program. click refile both key. Now a folder browser window came up and i have to pick the directory to install to. I choose the Diabloii directory. It said something about you are installing to a directory that's already exist. might cause compatability problems. I click ok.
7 Make a folder called Key1
8 copies all the files you mentioned in the guide including the new cdkey1.mpq
make shortcut of the diabloii.exe(d2 loader) in the origianl diabloii folder. edit the short cut property with -w -mpq cdkey1.mpq at the end.
(now i dunno where the "excute in" field means. but i assume it's "start in")
9 run and get that lame msg

please help
