Question re: Uber Portals

Arreat Summit has all the specs on Lilith, Uber Dury, Uber Izzy, Uber Meph, Uber Diablo, and Uber Baal. I need info on all of their minions, respectively. Most guides I've seen don't go into much detail on this. I'm interested in minion type and immunity. Here's what I think I know so far...

- Lilith has ??? types... I think there's cold and light immunes???
- Dury has maggots, ??? types... there's poison immunes???
- Izzy has pitlords?, oblivion knights?, ???... immune to everything but physical???

- Meph has all skelly types???... immune to physical???
- Diablo has pitlords???... immune to everything but physical???
- Baal has vampires???... immune to ???

Please give me the run down. Thanks!

This is not 100% Complete working from memory here, if I post a wrong one let me know.

Lilth - If no smiter, bonewall her/lower resists and pound with blizz.
**Fire sorc is a big help with minions here, fire doesnt seem to bother lilth much.
Sirens/Hell Witches -- Cold Immunes
Lancers -- Lightning Immune?

Duriel -- Same as Lilth cept Meteor works better than Blizzard.
Maggots -- Immune Poison
Spiders -- Fire Immune..
Scarabs -- Lightning Immune?
Swarms -- Phys Immune?

Izzy -- Same as Lilth, any magic ok.
Pit Lords -- Immune all but physical.
Doom Knights -- Immune Fire.
Mages -- Immune Cold.
Lancers -- Immune Light?

Uber Tristram -- Smiter Works Best!

Meph -- Smite Him
Skeleton Archers -- Cold Immune
Skeleton Magi -- Fire Immune

Baal -- Teleports, Don't have weaker chars running around him while you try to kill him or he will chase them.
Vampires/Blood Lords -- Cold Immune

Diablo -- Bone Prison = Sucks
Pit Lords -- Immune to all except physical.

Someone also has wraith's but I haven't figured out who spawns them, there arent many but they are Phys Immune and mana burn. Quite annoying.

Duriel has plenty of minions, 90% of the time he is right near the portal you just don't see them. Try walking around a little bit before opening your mouth about things you obviously know nothing of. Decent exp and mf in the sands.

Lillth can be killed easily without a smiter if you have a necro with decent bonewall & lower resists. She can't kill you if she can't get to you.

dNiym, thanks for the help, man! Disregard that Koolaid fool... I've never seen a post from him that doesn't include some sort of falseness :-/ . People kill the Lesser Ubers with non-Pally's every day.

I play hardcore and I'm going to try my high-level Necro and Barb in these portals, so I needed all the info I could get. I think I'll keep the Barb out of the Furnace of Pain, since he's not too fond of iron maiden :doh .

Edit: Oh, and should I assume these minions are about +20 lvl's higher than normal, too? And are they many sub-bosses of them?

In Hell Mode...

Countess can drop Key of Terror (TKey)
Summoner can drop Key of Hate (HKey)
Nilathak can drop Key of Destruction (DKey)

Cube all 3 (1 of each) in a5 and a random portal shall open. If you open a 2nd and 3rd portal in the same game, they shall not repeat locations.

Matron's Den - fight Lilith who drops Diablo's Horn
Forgotten Sands - fight Uber Dury who drops Baal's Eye
Furnace of Pain - fight Uber Izzy who drops Meph's Brain

Cube all 3 (1 of each) in a5 and an additional portal shall open.

Chaos Tristram - fight Uber Meph + Uber Diablo + Uber Baal. The last one to die shall drop 1 HellFire Torch (regardless of how many players are in the game) and Standard of Heroes item (1 for each player in the game).

You can find champion's, bosses w/e inside each of the portals, they arent usually all over the place but there are a few inside each portal and yes I belive the monsters are level 110 ish.

They're not immune to physical thats why smiters are most common.

I'm sure you meant Act 5. But can mercs actually survive in Trist?! I never heard about a Smiter's merc doin' such-and-such.

Yeah I meant act 5 barbs, i just didnt want some smartass saying hey my <insert non act 2 merc type here> can kill pit lords. But the reason you don't hear of smiter's mercs doin' such-and-such is because a smiter needs no merc to kill trist or pit lords. My Sorc's merc does great vs. minions and whips the crap out of pit lords, however he does not do well against meph.

We were discussing minions and their immunities in uber trist, thus where having a good merc can take the pain out of pit lords if you are a sorc or other non melee class, because otherwise they are immune to you.

Dude wtf are u talking about u cant toaly pk duri without having to touch minions.. I, personally have never seen minions... ad ive done ubers at least 5xtimes each...

I was simply responding to your moroning post as quoted above. Anyone who would make a statement like that obviously hasn't done enough tristing to have to hunt duriel down in the middle of 200 lightning bugs and swarms.

Granted most of the time he does spawn right at the portal, but not all the time you just felt it nessacary to pop off about how the people in this thread were morons for discussing duriels "non-existant" minions. So I felt obliged to call you on not knowing wtf you are talking about.
