I got 512 ram but the problemo is that I have dail-up.

All my other games such as WC3, Ghost recon, and Diablo run swimmingly while on it, its just the installing that blows.

Will the gameplay run smoothly other than major lag areas on dailup?

Depend on the video card too, but overall if you lower your vid settings you will run it ok.

you'd probably lag in the major cities and any big encounters tho.

ya i heard Iron Forge lags for everyone.

But would we be talking major lag to the point where you get the viens poppin out? Or just handlable lag?

If you don't go into Ironforge that much, you should be golden

i tried playing on dial up and i couldnt even get the damn patch downloaded , anyway unless your comp is way better then mine, i'd say just get dsl.

all you have to do is have someone nearby with dsl, get him to agree to let you rout your comp into his, go out and buy the router, spend two hours just figuring out how to open the computer to put the chip in, spend 6 hours trying to get the router to work, run into several proublems, delete a bunch of files you later find out you needed, call you computer-smart freaind, waste 5 hours of his life, finaly give up and pay some guy 250$ to do it for you, download WoW, get an error message when you try to log in, ask about it on battle forums, get told how to open some ports, forget your password, call the guy who installed the router for you, he doesnt pick up, call about 10 times befor giving up, come back on battle forums and go compleatly off topic telling about all of this. and if all goes well you should be playing wow in a mounth or two.

easy as that
