Question about open bnet/single play

I got tired of playing online, and decieded to play solo. I really never played open, or for that matter solo. My questions are:

Can I use open B.Net to mule items?
Does Runewords work on single games? Or is it like Ladder/Non Ladder?
Is it possible to trade legit items, on open, and use them in a single game?
Is their a way to get 1.09 patch so I don't have to deal with the damn 1.11?

You can use Open to mule items, on Open and single-player only, of course. Or you can use an editor, whatever...

Yes, you can make Runewords.

Yes, you can trade legit items on Open and use them in single-player.

Yes, you can just uninstall Diablo II, reinstall it and download the 1.09 patch. However, I think you will not be able to play on Open.

Hummm... Just use an editor. But I warn you, at first getting "hacked" items looks fun, but it's just too easy against monsters and against players you'll just get owned by even more hax0red people than you.

Wrong.. U can't get any virus when somebody gives you hacked item on open bnet. Hacked items are just data, not executables.. they can't be viruses if there aren't any big exploit in Diablo.
