Question about lightening shield

Lightening shield can be cast to protect your units, but can you cast it on your opponents characters so they tear each other up while fighting you?

Hehe... yes. One of my favorite strats is going mass shaman, and sending them in with my hero and using about 20 lightning shields on their units, then TPing. I'll come back to their base in about 20 seconds and tear up all there weakened/dead men. Lightning shield is a bitch if you know how to use it

Lightning Sheild I only use on heros its not that good but if you have nothing else do to in battle put a few on there units

Its good to cast on enemy air units, since they're always bunched together.

I never got the hang of it properly, but when it worked I had loads of fun.

ALways always do it on ranged since they are always bunched togather. ALso if you don't have a WoN and willing to take some dmg put is on skele-ies. Maybe 3 or 4 of them.

That would be awesome, but you cant use it on air units. Lightning shield is really good on clusters, I think its underrated. If used right, it can shred up armies in a small time.

if u cast it on ur own units, remember that it also damages ur own units!

yeah lightnig shield is a weird spell, it says lighting SHIELD but u technically cast it on da opponent...*cuz u do more damage that way and u don't hurt ur own units..............

yeah i got confused by that too.. i used to use it on my own units until the opponent started ussingit on my own units....

its only good for your team for melee. and thats if theyre not bunched up.

yeh skeletom kni is wright thats a good strategie u can also use it one your hero with tauren shieftain send him imto battle with lightning shield.
