Question about exhile

despite the defence is exhile different on different shields? Because i see some exhile shields that have 40 sumdin resist on it and i checked sites and it says the exhile runeword doesnt add resist and if exhile is different on differnt shields wat kind of exhile should i get and how many runes is it worth on west nonladder softcore

pally shields can get the bonus of the prefix "fine" or "shimmering" etc. most likely the shield is made with from a 4 socket shield with a resist mod already there before exile is made

Paladin runewordable shields can have auto-mods that allow them to have a max of +45 to all resistances. So this mod can appair on "exile" shields.

I love exile made on ethereal sacred rondache; good defense, block, smite damage and low requirements. A very good choice for that runeword.

Depends. 8 being REALLY good resists. And in a good shield with awesome smite damage, they can go up to 8 easily. The shield has life tap for a % chance to cast for christ sakees.
