has anyone besides me seen a great downfall in punk music? i mean now all the record comanpies have made it a style and a fad. the old people in punk were at least smart and knew what was punk and what was a piece of shit (like good charlotte) but the feeling is gone...... what should we do? i say we take down all the record companies except for epitath records..... of course alot of people in these forums like hardcore shit so maybe i should just nm and forget it

I like punk-rock like green day and sum 41 i like nirvana but that is a diff story. There should be more bands like them. i miss those days. sigh. maybe i can find a drumer thats all i like to have a band but most of the poeple dont know how to play there damn instument. There just isnt ne good bands left because peopel r to lazy to learn how to play.

in the beginning the ramones and a few other bands were playing what they called 'fast rock'. however soon, the genre had turned into what is called punk. did the ramones, the sex pistols, or X give it that name and make it a fashion statement? no, big companies did

soon the crowds changed from wise and crazy to clueless and crazy reckless people. soon punk had lost its real thing. people found this a good time to make it a big fad out of it and make stores like hot topic (which by the way blows now) and now everyone is running around with mohawks listening to avril lavigne all day.... where did the real feelings go?

well kurt like all the real punk bands did not label himself punk. any band that labeled themselves punk should burn in hell. and that includes good charlotte and avril lavigne.

kur cobaine is probably the coolest guy ive ever seen in my life. he changed the word 'alternative' forever. i unno about punk and rock but i dunno where we'd be without him
