Well, Nintendo said they want to release their Revolution 1 or 2 months prior to the PS3, and that's their seasonal release dates. Sony hasn't said anything about any hold-ups, thus far. They also, like Nintendo, want to get a few more titles out as swan songs for the system before the PS3 completely takes over (FFXII, KH2, and XS3). To my understanding, the X-Box 360 was the only one that had trouble keeping release dates =/ not to mention pricing.

Canada never gets a seperate release date then the states. It is never a "US" release, it's a North American Release since we have the same Regional coding.

kh2 is comming out for ps2 im pretty sure.i think its allready out in japan

So sue me I forgot Canada has the same Regional Code as the US. For some reason, I thought it was Region 3, like Europe. I thought Mexico was also Region 3 :ninja: I know US is 1 and Japan is 2.

Also if sqaure does make ff7 for ps3 , i can see alot more fanboys buying a ps3.

im not sure if it was announced that they are making it though(yes i know it was just a tech demo)

SquarEnix has OFFICIALLY said that the FFVII demonstration was only a tech demo to show off what could be done if FFVII were developed using PS3 technology.

Personally, I am not really impressed with their tech demo. I was digging up info on PS3, and it was all good and what not, except the pricing. A direct quote from a Sony guru was that Sony wants "consumers to think to themselves 'I will work more hours to buy one'. We want people to feel that they want it, irrespective of anything else."

And that to me, is pure evil, especially if the system will be well over $300.

PS3 is a subsidized Blu-ray play that will sell 20 million units. The first HD player will be on the market for $1,000. PS3 could be at $300 or $400. Sony will be selling them at a loss the first six months to a year just to get Blu-ray players out in the market. So studios realize they need to have their content on it.

In keeping with the PlayStation business model, PS3 will roll out at a loss for the first six months, then rapidly turn profits on game-license fees. PS3 will be bundled with a selection of preloaded films, TV programs and games and sell for between $300-$400

$300-$400 with a Blu-ray player and preloaded stuff, i'm sold.

I went to EBX on friday and they said it is slated to come out the same day as Halo 3 for the Xbox360, also the FF will be out the same day too just FYI.
