McSorley got charged with assault with a weapon, for almost the exact same thing, only he used his stick. Charge Bertuzzi with simple assault or the Canadian criminal justice system is a biased joke, k thks.

sure you can, happens every week or two in hockey. Got no problem with that, but if you watched the game more (moore, w/e) was a marked man from the time the puck dropped, it was obviously pre-meditated, and he slammed the guys head into the ice after he was out cold. Thats not cool =(

Watch sportscenter tonite, or espnews right now, they show it about every 10 minutes. Basically, he jumps on the guys back after sucker punchin him, then slams his head on the ice. Guy got 2 fractured vertebra in his neck, he could have easily been killed.
