Now, this one will be awesome because its two people working on it. So far, we've got 100 triggers. Omg, can you believe it? You get to pick from a selection of 8 characters, (4 Terran Heroes // 4 Protoss Heroes). I'm working on triggers, and my partner, Angelgurl586 from Blizzforums, is doing the terrain and characters.
So heres how its going so far:
Terrain: 20% Done (256x256)
Triggers: 50% Done
Plot: 10% Done

I put some unique triggers to in this game. I hope you guys enjoy this.

Do you ever finish a project, or just release the first version of them

Dude, you can't finish a map in 1 version...

Edit: I take that back, you can, but it's going to be full of bugs and rather crappy without feedback

I thought you left?

BTW; explain the replay deal, and you can't finish a game that you hope to be good in under a week, like you have...Not to mention all your maps suck anyway, so why bother with them

Oh, and 100 Triggers isn't that big of a deal. My FFVII map has about 300, and it's barely past Midgar =/...

Hydra you've been reported for flaming outside the asylum. Gj.

And i hope this map turns out well, but how do you have so much of the terrain done when you dont even have a plot?

I beg to differ
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?download=236

This download is the only compleat version. I never made any updates. Tell me this map is full of bugs or crappy and I'll agree with you that maps can't be finished in one version.

Edit: of course this took me more than 2 weeks. But i don't see a reason to release a incompleat map just because you have been working on it for a few weeks. And oh yeah this map has 705 triggers so EAT THAT. :)

Bolt Head, I think he was talking about map makers in general, not gurus such as yourself.

Also, an RpG has a much higher chance of acquiring glitches than a bound.

yeah that is true about the RPG. But still my bound is the most trigger intensive bound ever made. :) As a side note i tested House of the Haunted with Friends for a month before I made the first public release. There were only 2 version released after it. (I might make a 3rd some day)

Wait a minute. . . are you saying im not a mapmaker? lol
