Program to rip dvds

I need a program to rip dvds. I'd like an avi file and compressed to about 700mb.

I think maybe pcs have programs to rip dvds too. Or is that another of the many advantages of owning a mac...?

Yeah, I use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.
