Ok I downloaded PROEdit and I can get it to run fine. I protect a map, but the map can still be opened with StarForge, but not X-tra editor. Does anyone know is there is as solution to this? Thanks.

The beta copy worked, the only problem was SCMDraft opened it just like it did maps protected by GUedit. I tried the public version once and I think i messed something up and got a error when i tried to play it. I think it was caused because i tried to save over the existing map instead of making a new map name for it.

Sometimes when I play a map protected by PROEdit, I get the error unable to load scenario file (or something like that) and it brings me to the main menu (where it says Multiplayer, Singleplayer, ect...).

So there is no way to prevent a map from being opened by any editor (currently)?

Looks like Clokr_ has some serious fixing to do! Hope he gets it done soon, we wouldn't want any ppls using StarForge to do the same thing they did with SCU.
