PROEdit 1.0 released

[shadow=orange]PROEdit[/shadow] is the best map protector (for now). This is the first public release. Download it here.

Never save a map protected with the same name of the unprotected. I'm not going to unprotect maps that had
been accidentally protected.


Installation instructions:

Save the files PROEdit.exe and UnitList.lst where you want
but both in the same folder.

You will need the Common Controls too.


Errors and bugs:

You can send to me the errors and bugs that you find posting they in
the forum: here

If the error/bug happend only in a specific map, email me it please.


NOTE: The compress feature will not protect the map but will make it smaller.

I have a problem extracting it. Does Win Rar work with ACE files too?

Blah, looks like your gonna have to do what you did with me and send the zip copy instead... unless its too big to dl. Just makes things simpler, even if it is a few extra bytes in size.

Yeah, I changed the .ace to .zip because I wanted to remove the common controls from the file but my copy of winRAR is expired. The new file is a much smaller .zip.

I thought that since your name is Clokr_ you could use the Starcraft button for cloaking for PROEdit's icon, you being its creator. I have included the icon here, but it is .JPG so you will need to change it to .ico. Good luck! :rollie
