Problems with the installation

lo there im new here, just looked for d2 forums @ google.

anyway, i installed d2 multiplayer thingie, then upgraded to d2x, used the 1.10 patch and used the DLoader for 1.10
the game loads but it acts like a single player mode

no battle.net options
i tried reinstalling several times but it keeps happening, i followed all the instructions in the readme

perhaps u installed the wrong patch and by mistake u installed the 1.10 beta patch reinstall and upgrade to 1.09 and then connect to bnet and download the patch from ingame

Did you select Full or Multiplayer upon installation?
