Problem With WC3

Ok, heres how it went down.

I was playing on Bnet one day, and all the sudden, i got d/c. So I tried to reconnect but it would get stuck at the downloading files box (i waited over 20 minutes). So I uninstalled, then TRIED to reinstall, but I got an error message that said it couldnt read the file war3.mpq, it suggested my cd wasn't in the drive properly. It gave me the option to Retry, or to Cancel, well of course I retried, and of course that didn't work. So I wanted to test the CD, and I went and installed it on my Dad's computer, and that worked fine. So I thought it must be my computer that was causing the problem, so I reformatted, tried to install again, and it still gave me the same error. So I then wanted to test the CD-ROM to make sure it was working, so I made an image of the CD with CloneCD and mounted it using Daemon. And you can probably guess, that when I tried to install it from the image, I GOT THE SAME ERROR. Ok, at this point I was really getting frustrated. So I downloaded the game of the internet, and used my CD key, but still the damn thing gave me the same error! At this point I was completely out of ideas, and I decided to turn to you guys.

Please help.

Hmm not easy to solve. Have you changed your folder? Sometimes when you install it in one folder and then reinstall it in another folder, some files have their initial folders registered (like from Start Up >> Programs) and the new folder cant be accepted

TFT doesnt work with Daemon and CCD when I tried it...

Just play it on your dad's comp, if it doesnt work on your comp, must be your drive or something.

it isnt the cd rom if it wouldnt even work after i downloaded it

and yes i have tried changing folders

**hey the same thing happened here so i am reduced to playing lan and i have to tell u its pretty boring if u can beat the person u play every time u play zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzz pretty boring if u ask me and i tryed spicing up the lan game with some insane coms but there to darn easy to beat so iam in need of some battle net gaming to so plz someone find out quickly**

It's Most Likely a graphics proplem, if heard of the same error happening when you shutdown warcraft 3 by CRTL ALT DEL, and when you try rebooting the game the error msg will come up evrytime, so maybe it's something to do with your Card?
