I am having trouble playing Diablo 2 on my laptop. It plays fine and everything for roughly 10 mins then it will cause the computer to shutdown and crash. Any ideas on what this could be?

you should look in your device manager and find your video card because from that i can tell u that it is definatly the video card and not an internal spec problem. (if u need me to tell u how to get there just reply)

Its either:
RADEON IGP 320M
or
Mobility RADEON 9200 AGP

Not sure if we were looking in the right spot.

i had kind of the same problem but with doom 3

but its because the video card cannot handle the games specs and if overheats and has to shut down in order to not damage the other components. so you might need to get a new video card.(not saying u have to go out and buy one) but if u choose to make sure its an up to date one preff the new Radeon 9700+ or higher, or neother highly new video card. and since u got certain slots available id stick with the AGP slot, CAUTION:make sure its not a PCI or PCI Express Slot. one that has an 3D accelerator. any more questions just reply

Alright so I would guess that video cards for laptops differ from regular PCs so how do I tell that they are for laptops?

o yeah sry i forgot about the laptop thing. lol. well if i were you i would take a trip to circuit city/comp usa/ or any computer store and ask them to install a new one if need be, if you cannot get a new one installed u might have to buy a new computer entirely but i wouldnt recommend it unless u HAVE TO PLAY diablo. i play from the time i get home from work till about 10ish. if u need nething wen your on d2 if u dont get kicked off hit me up at Clan_SiC@USEast.

P.S. Hope you solve the problems with your computer problems. If u need more info of places to goto around your area tell me and I will See into it. G/L

diablo 2 is a weak ass game visually. my 8mb [u heard me] onboard vid card handles it nearly flawlessly.

does your computer restart for any other times besides d2? soudnst o me that your computer is overheating.

Yeah, it seems like your comp is over heating. Thoose specs should be able to run d2 easy also... So yeah, has your comp been restarting, or just on d2?
