I am watching the Yellow vs Reach replay from ggl.com and I noticed a few things. Maybe you can help me to understand what's going on.

Time Stamp: 15 secs

What is Yellow doing in those single player games?

Time Stamp: 33 secs

I see something popping in the lower right corner of his screen. Is this some program like a APM rating? Or....is it just an angle view of the SC menu?

Time Stamp: 40 secs

What is he doing on the screen? Checking sounds? Music? Speed? HUH? He's doing quite a bit of it.

Time Stamp: 1:03

Wtf? Why is he changing maps? Maybe he is looking at replays? Why for a couple seconds though? What the...

Time Stamp: 1:45

He made a game? He joined a game? Then he left the game? lol what is he doing!?

Time Stamp: 2:15

Why is Yellow typing really fast and hitting enter RIGHT before the game starts?
Isn't it like that rumored /refresh or whatever command that was suppose to unlag the game?

Time Stamp: 2:30

The game JUST started and why the hell is he typing so fast? What is he typing?

Okay, gogogo answers please! I'm so confused.

Okay, I will answer your questions one by one.

The player isn't Yellow, it is Reach ;)
Since the Koreans couldn't practice like foreigners because of their tight schedule, they did not have enough time to study the maps.
So he was taking a quick glance at it, to make sure where all expos are, strategic routes, and to check the amount of minerals & geysers.

It is just a SC menu.

He is checking to make sure the speed (mouse scroll, and key scroll) is set appropriately.
When I mean appropriately, I mean the maximum speed.

Same thing for what I said to your first question, just studying the map.
(expos, where to build and stuff...etc.)

Okay, this is very common. This happens a lot during the pro games.
It usually means the player isn't ready yet, they'd often join after several minutes later to cool & calm and their minds.
But to me, it just seemed like he was changing his ID.

As you know, Korean progamers are very friendly to each other.
Yellow and Reach have been the same teammates for quite a few years, which means that they sleep together, eat together, and practice their ass off all day long. So to them, they're like family members.

They were just being nice each other, or cheering for each other if you will.
By simply 'spamming' abbreviations like "GL" "HF" ..etc.

This heppens a lot in normal public games too, it's just to show that they're GM players.

He's not typing :)
He is playing, and you know all professional gamers have very high APM.
So to some people, it'd sometimes look like they're typing something.

Glad I could help.

Yes, I did see a lot of GL and HF's and probably DD. lol But whom ever that was, Reach, was typing like 'f' or 'g' very fast with enter. Not just best wishes. What is that about?

I know progamers have very high APM but really that early in the game with 4 peons?? lol, What is he doing, giving each probe a Ctrl+1, 2, 3, and 4? What could they possibly be typing just that early in the game.
Then just during their regular playing they are tying with the keys. sdfs sdfdsf sdfsdfsdfdg sdfdsf assd dfsdfds That's all it looks like. Except for upgrades why. WHY!?

I would love to just see a progamer play with his hands instead of watching the game. lol

Usually, what protoss player will do is hotkey his nexus "0" and one of his probe "1" when scouting the map.
It's just the "way" of warming up their hands, like basketball.
They warm up before they play right?
It is important to warm up in the beginning so you can react to any kind of stuff very quickly during the game.
Keep the kinetic energy flowing!!!

Maybe they're keeping their APM high, :p. Some people will spam random hotkeys for their units and set many rally points over and over when nothing is happeing to increase their APM. I have no idea if Reach and Yell0w do this, but I do know that many people do. Someone with a 450 APM can easily lose to someone with a 200 APM becaue they may just be spamming hotkeys to death.

EDIT:

a@ posted before me, damn, :p.

Does APM only count on Clicks? I wanted to download a program for that, but I think I remember it saying it only applies clicks from the mouse and not keys. Maybe its the other way around?

It counts every moves you make.
Hotkey %, Move %, Select %, Attack %...etc.
