How to setup the diablo 2:Ancestral Recall Serverr

-To get connected to our server, here are the steps the steps :

1.Install the diablo 2 1.10 patch

2.Download the Diablo 2:Ancestral Recall
From www.fileplanet.com/dl.aspx?/planetdiablo/teknokyo/arv110.zip

from www.clanhoc.com/pkaclan/Patch_d2.mpq

3.Connect to the PKA gateway : www.pkaclan.com/download/pka.zip
Click On "Change Gateway" Button
Choose "AR 1.10"
Make a Character and you are good to play!

now...i got a question, can this is anyway backfire, or anything? can anything happen to our comps...and how the hell did u do that?...one more thing. How is it...i mean are the people harder, is it for closed, or singleplayer/open. And is it like a drop mode?

1. Nothing can happen to your comp if its just a mod, unless its trojaned.

2. Not for closed, only open/single.

3. Not to sure about it being a drop mod. I think it just changed the game not the drop rate.

no its not open/singleplayer he says he has a server for it so it will be closed.
And the mod changes alot of stuff in the game not just the drop rate

you should be safe but one hint:

Don't use the same password+account that you use on normal servers since the host has acces to these informations

Ok first of all this is for closed... and It owns there is lots of new shit like new monster there are dire wolves, were wolves , orcs , goblins ,entes, leprachans and more....

This blows. Ar used to have 2 different versions. One had a completely revamped skill tree, with diffenrt skills for differnet classes, differnt effects for each skill, for example ice blast for sorcs was a melee kick which could do high cold dmg, and frozen orb looked beuatifull. Also, lots of new items were added, and all items had a different graphics.

Then there was the sucky version, which was vanilla diablo with some new cube recipes and monster locations.

They chose to use the lame sucky version, gg.
