I hadn't really gotten too into this one before, I was preoccupied with the first one. After playing this for 15 hours and 44 minutes thus far, I can already safely say this is the best console game I've ever played in my entire life. If you've played it, thoughts?

I have it for Xbox for the extra online modes the PS2 version doesn't have.

Great game though. Played it for about 10 hours haven't beaten it yet.

Well, I was about to make my own thread about this game, but the Mods say this is better...

I have borrowed that game for the last week or so, and only about 5 hours of play, maybe a little more or less, im just before the 2nd tower... I can honestly say this game is both challenging, fun, and has a nice touch of gore ;)

But this game also also kicked my ass a few times... even with the game just on medium, I have died around 30-50 times by misjudging stunts. Having the re-wind feature does help, but better when you have 4+ tanks of Sand.

GAH! this game is so much fun.

I also love the gameplay style itself, how they were able to add all of these puzzles and have a unique fighting style that isn't all about button-mashing. It CAN be, but your combos will suck. I love how just hitting triangle at an enemy can set you up for 6-9 different actions to chain just that one move. Awesome. Im trying to beat the game without getting any life upgrades.

Its funny how the shades that form from crows used to be such a challenge. Now I can slaughter 3-8 goons or ninjas fairly easily.

Zerglite, you have to play this game. See if you can beat it in 3 days like you have claimed.

I beat it three times, although I don't believe my hardest difficulty game is finished yet. I beat it the first time without getting any life upgrades.. found out later that if you get all of them, there's a special sword you can get at the end, and if you pick it up you get an entirely different boss fight and ending at the very end of the game. Instead of the stupid bitch you usually fight at the end, you have to face.. the Dahaka. I want to do it so bad :p

I thought you had to fight the Dahaka anyway? How the **** are you supposed to kill/fight it if every single time it appears in The Present and grabs you, you instantly die?

He must be a hard mother ****er to fight... I still get chills when the music starts blarrin and the screen gets all distorted and the giant grey ****er comes after you. It doesn't ive you as much time to think about what your doing as you CANT STOP MOVING or you will die :(

You need the special Water Sword to fight him, and it isn't even there to get unless you collect every life upgrade throughout the game.

Joe's Garage.
My brother has it and I went to his house got stoned and watched him run from that black shadow guy. I was in amazement on how quick he was able to think from running across the walls, to sliding down the wall rugs or whatever they are. It was quite the intense peice of work.
