Preparing to spec...

When I hit my late 50's or so, I was going to respec more towards Demonology. I've got 3 possible builds and I can't decide which one to go towards:

Ruin:

OR Improved Corruption/Life Tap (I'm almost sure I'm not going with this one with the lack of DPS I've taken from the Dest tree =\)

So my main battle is between the top 2...suggestions or perhaps anything else I should consider?

I don't know Warlocks that well, but i prefer your second one the best. I actually made a tree that was pretty much pure Destruction because i'm not a fan of pets, here it is.

Also, Improved Corruption isn't worth it, definately not in PvE.

Go for Soul Link build if you're going Demonology. Otherwise stick with Destruction and own faces in PvP. =P

If you're not going to obtain Ruin, the Devastation talent is not so efficient.

Without Ruin, I'd prefer a 7 affliction / 33 demonology / 11 destruction build: in PvE raiding, suppression is a very useful option, better than improved corruption. And this is a very good build in PvP too.

However, I prefer the 30 demonology / 21 destruction choice. Less effective in PvP, but more damaging in PvE, especially if you have got a nice +hit / crit with spells on your gear.
