So I go through headphones rather quick, and as such I have had my share of various models and brands, and today's happens to be Altec Lansing, whom i have yet to try, but I rather like them! great bass and a nice length cord (not too long, not too short) and very comfartable. Other mentionable notices are BOSE and KOSS. What do you guys use (speakers/headphones)?

I'm a perfectionist when it comes to music, so it has to sound good or I would rather have nothing. I can't stand earbud headphones that usually have no bass and are uncomfortable, and I don't like the bulky headphones unless I am at home and playing guitar to something along with line-in to my amp, im just too picky >.<

My thoughts exactly. But Wesleys' advice on anything music has almost always been right, so I might buy one of those brands just because, I need new headphones anyways.

What's sad is I have had these off-brand computer speakers forever, but they are quite nice surprisingly, and I have yet to see a need to replace them, but for christmas I am getting a nice JBL 5.1 setup, so that's cool.

I've had my Sony headphones for over a year now. If I can get a pair of headphones to last that long, they're good in my book.

Does the exhaust manifold count as a listening device?

Yeah, the headphones I have are really nice, it's just the some of the CD's I have are scratched and my CD player is horrible, so it really sucks.

Jesus. The longest I ever had a pair of headphones was maybe 3 months, and then they either broke or I broke them.
