I'm acutally quite happy they took out the hack-section

Reasons:

1). Less work for Aragorn and the Other WC mods
2). Less traffic for the site (no more annoying downtimes and crashes)
3). Less people JUST HERE FOR HACKS.
4). Less people hacking on B.net

Be honest with yourself, you all have or at one point in your b.net career thought about downloading a script for WC or some other game. This just takes more fun out of the game and -- for people who are learing it gives them less of a reason to try hard to learn the game.

Why are some reasons they should Bring the "Hack" Section back & What are some reasons they should leave it be?

( Stick to WC only please )

Yes i agree, i dont lik hacks for Strat games, cuz its cheap.

Ppl should depend on there skills then a MH, learn to scount.

Hehe.. Yes learn to "scount" indeed.

I have to say though its annoying when you check replays and they teleport back to there base 3 seconds before you rreach there when they have NO WAY of knowing your coming.

I just use sentry wards I dont need map hack. I like it without them.

I know and thats completely legit. And such -- But he wasn't orc nor was he using them lol!! Replays reveal SOOOO much ^^

Its hard to get them without being orc, but sometimes I get lucky.. unless they sell them at the stores and I don't know lol.

And I never was huge fan of hacks in Warcraft, Ive used it once, and it ruined my gamplay. (or fun)

It really doesn't make less people hacking on B.Net because people continue to look for hacks at other sites.

yeah but BF is notorious on bnet as a hack provider.

Agreed. Battleforums is absolutely NOTORIOUS for it. Hopefully our future will remain hackless.

Most members came and left anyways. They just came to our forums for files, they weren't looking for a community in the first place. Almost all hacks did for us was boost our hits up, but that is about it. It scared away most serious players from this forum, and that is what I was most concerned about when I took this position.

Theroy had 45-3 with maphack, does that show hackers are easy to beat? Not really.

I would definitely have to agree with that. We do need to get more members though. The 1.15 patch has made our clan sort of "fall apart". =/

By the time it is fully released we can recruit again.

well spamming ALWAYS helps, spam in rt games esp. to the ones you beat badly or leave an impression on, after all there are alot of war3 "groupies" that go around stalking ppl (i.e. clan bei)
