Ok lets see... other things that **** up the speed of your reactions while driving... Being sleepy? Eating? Talking on the phone? Talking to someone else in the car? Looking for something? Changing the radio station or a cd?

So pretty much anything other then having both hands on the wheel and looking at only the road is technically dangerous and should be illegal.

I know plenty of people that drive high. I'm not saying it something you should do. Or is necessarily a good decision but **** happens. It's easy to blame peoples faults on drugs and alcohol. And yes it CAN be mentally addictive. ANYTHING can be mentally addictive. For example sex, drugs, video games, eating certain kinds of food. The point is if you have willpower then you will be able to control yourself. What it isn't is physically addicting there are no withdrawal symptoms when you stop smoking weed.

Not everyone that smokes is a stoner. I know people that only smoke once or twice a month. Sometimes once or twice a year and I really doubt if it becomes legalized that the number of people who smoke will skyrocket. Especially if companies decide to manufacture and distribute it.

the way i see it is if it turns legal, it will be controlled. just like booze, it gets capitalised and mass produced and with mass production you get **** quality, it gets harder to get sorted with something decent since more people are serving up some **** they found at the pharmacy thats bred to be less potent and to meet the hundreds of strict regulations theyl probably set up to make sure they have full control of it.

Let's look at the facts. People who use marijuana medicinally are ALLOWED to smoke it. There's no laws that need to be passed to make it any more legal than it already is. It's not legal in all 50 states, but who really gives a ****? If you are sick enough where you feel the need to be a pot head, do what you got to do. Move.

And lets look into this a little deeper. This bill uses "Responsible pot smokers" and "100 grams, close to a quarter pound" in the same sentence. What is responsible about keeping that much weight? Honestly, if you aren't trying to sell it, you might as well have less than an ounce on you, which for the most part, is as legal as it needs to get considering all you get if you are caught with it is a fine and a slap on the wrist which is taken away with a simple 2 hour drug class. Honestly, I smoke every day, and am ashamed of it. Because it is illegal? No. Because of the idiot bandwagon that supports it.

I think you're going under the basis that unless something has a reason to be legal it should be illegal, and they the opposite.
