I sorda use a hybrid fire/light sorc and she works pretty well.
Primary skill is fireball, meteor for slow movers/crowds.
Max everything you would for a fireball/meteor sorc except no firewall for the extra meteor dmg.
Put those points into lightning and lightning mastery as the secondary.
your lightning will be MUCH MUCH weaker than your fire tree, but its only there for backup. My merc still ends up doing most of the work.
@ Level 88 I ended up with 10k Fireball, 24k Meteor, and about 1.5-2k lightning
As you can tell she is MUCH stronger with fire attacks, and in a game with 4+ people the lightning damage is almost un-noticable. For solo mfing or killing in games with a few people you can kill pretty much anything that comes your way with this build. A good merc is key to not getting your ass kicked by fire immunes, because of the low lightning damage. If ever get the patience to level on up to 94 or so the damage might get near respectable. Also I am using ZERO skill gc's on this sorc atm so some light gcs could improve the damage.
I had a hybrid Frozen Orb/Fireball Sorc before ladder reset but this new build stomps my old sorc in the ground as far as usability goes.
