Pornography is bad for you! (not!)

It's been a while since my last visit to Arcane. But I'll make it worthwhile.

According to Australian studies, accepting some porn is "good for you". I quote:

"The surprising finding was that pornography is actually good for you in many ways," Dr McKee said.

"When you look at people who are using it in everyday life, over 90 per cent report it has had a very positive effect."

Dr McKee said porn users reported it had taught them "to be more relaxed about their sexuality" and marriages were healthier, while porn made people think about another person's pleasure and made them less judgmental about body shapes.

"The more we try and turn porn into something that's seen to be bad and has to be kept away from families, the more problems we might be causing for ourselves."

Should porn be a form of education? Can it be seen as something that's actually worth using as some sort of therapy for self-esteem and sexuality?

I think schools shouldn't exactly have a prono class, well maybe, but it could explain a little more about sexuality then your average health class would.

It's mixed fellings. It really depends on the person though. Porn is usally the same thing, but some people have different types of opinios on it, and as far as their sexuality goes, that can also affect how they think of porno. It just all depends. Lesbians would rather get the real thing IMO.

Am I the only sixteen year old that doesn't look at pornography? I can honestly say that i once saw some back when i was younger and i was frankly disgusted. I strongly believe that sex should be with someone that you care for and love deeply (that's why i choose to be absinant until i get married). Watching some complete strangers do something private just completly shatters my whole outlook on my personal thoughts on the matter.

Especially some of the weird stuff going on around the internet (my hotmail inbox is full of links to sex related sites that include animals and pediphiles) destroys the ideal behind the act.
