So I was wondering, who writes poetry here and who doesn't? Do you like writing it? What kind of poems do you write if you even do? Well, I can pretty much just write romance/love poems... Well, if you do write poetry... Post them in here, let's see how good they get...

I will post one, then after someone else does I will post another... I have about fifteen to post...

Place in my Heart

When I look into your eyes
My heart wants to melt
In all the strength you give me
The Lord knew how I felt
To walk by myself
To be all alone
With no one at all to call my own
You came into my life
Brightening up my years
Gently washing away my tears
Now we're bounded together
Never to be apart
Always and forever
You have a place in my heart.

Beatiful Reality

We sow the earth with our sins
and our children reap the disease that it brings.

Old men send young men off to die,
their mourning families wonder why.

Our forefathers toiled in vain,
all their ignorant children do is sin in their name.

As was done by our fathers and our mothers
we, consumed by greed, turn upon our brothers.

There is no hope for mother earth,
it was doomed since our kinds cursed birth.

I wrote that today just for this forum, perhaps later i'll post another. There is another poem that I wrote earlier to replace the one that was erased by one of the attacks on this site under all of my posts.

I write dark poetry..yet most of my poems are hopeful, towards the end. I'll dig up a few, and post them.

i used to write some cheesy depressing poetry during the school year when i got home from all the bullshit.

most people dont actually care to read it, or think much of it ive noticed.

so lately ive stopped.

I made this bit of poerty (my first ever haha) for my GF Jessica, I was inspired by my emotions and how stupid they can be. When I frist wrote it I didn't like it but later on i seen how cool it was.


True Love



Love is ethereal, but my love for you is eternal
Your love is like blood and tears
It makes me feel loved, and releases my fears
You’re my everything, my everywhere
Without you, I end up in a place called nowhere
I cant live without you, your so special
You give me life, and make me feel essential
Wanted, loved, cared for, trusted
Needed, loving, caring for, always trusted
I’ll never let go of you
My hands will not rest until your mine once more
How we met, how we die, whose to say
How we let love take us over, and give us life
For this strange feeling I get when I see you
I want to hold you, give you the same love
As you have given me, by death or blood
I will eventually have you in my arms
And forever be happy, and loved
For this is love, eternal.
Like no other
So whose to say
How much ‘’eternal’’ is?
It could be any number or amount
Yet it cant count how many tears
I’ve cried, of joy and happiness
For you, my one and only

Shadows in the dark
creeping just about
making their mark
make me want to shout.

Shadows in the dark, their everywhere.
Can't lose their presence,
Can't lose their essence,
Can't find myself, do you care?

Shadows in the dark, why are you here?
You give nothing, but fear.
Why must you follow me?
Why can't you let me be?
Why must you make me flee?

Shadows in the dark, you're still here.
I'm losing my fear.
Take a look in the mirror,
Wash away my tear.

Moments

The moments in our lives are what matters most.
The moments in our lives are what make life grand.
The moments in our lives are what make life coast.
The moments in our lives are what make life less bland.

Moments can happen, quickly or slow.
Moments can happen when you don't even know.
Moments can bring happiness to all.
Moments can make a strong man fall.

These moments are what we live for.
These moments are what we die for.
These moments are what I want, nothing more.

What happens when you can't think?
When you can't talk?
Nothing.
Nothing happens.
You freeze up, you're speechless.
Only bad can happen.
Things start racing through your mind.
Thinking of only bad.
Only fear.
Only anger.
Things get out of control.
Things don't make sense.
Nothing makes sense.
The only thing you can do is speak.
And it isn't happening.

Sometimes you should think.
Think, what if?
What if I don't come to?
What if I can't break through?
What should I do?
What happens next?
Only time will tell.

I like this one Jason, it's really dark and gloomy sounding.

Angel Of Deceit

Take ahold of my hand
Let's leave this place today
An island in the sand
A place where we can stay

Your sweet words fill my mind
As you hold me in the dark
This truley is a bind
Leaving such beautiful mark

I glance upon the stars
In this perfect world of mine
An angel's hidden scars
Existance with no sign

Now time begins to sway
As I embrace this world of mine
Looking for the way
A broken fragile line

We travel down a rocky path
Covered with time's decay
Leading to a twisted wrath
Now it's time I pay

Searching for my angel's glow
It's dissapearing now I see
Something that I did not know
Now I'll never never be

I glance up at this tender face
A face I could only love
Suffocating my last breath
This angel from above

Lost Deep Within

She wanders astray, far from her home
Lost in the center of this dark forest
The tall trees hover gently above
While the crescent moon shines softly

Her hair hangs low, beautiful and bright
Resting upon her tender shoulders
Gently flowing in the calm cool breeze
Creating some sort of peace

Although she looks joyful
Her face forms a smile
Looking through her eyes
So empty and filled with pain

Her white silk dress drags upon the ground
As she suddenly runs in fear
Terrified from the nothing that's behind her
She never looks back, for the pain is too strong

She comes to a halt, as the beast fades away
Yet the memories and fear are still near
A presence of this creature still lingers inside her
Haunting her mind forever

Gasping for air, she searches for home
Yet the trees are blocking her view
A tear cascades down her face
Leaving a trail of immaculate anguish

Her mind is filled with darkened thoughts
Screeching and taunting her every move
There is nothing she can do, she just must wait
For her life is in the hands of something much more

Slowly she lays down, cold in her tears
Embracing her body, her heart, and her soul
Confused and alone, yet not given up
She sighs and she struggles for something more

For now she is alone
She trembles in remembrance
Hope is still there, glimmering in the distance
Not quite at hand, but something to strive for

Knowing that some-how she will find her way
A way to safety and move on with life
Her life is not at end, just frozen in time
For She is just lost...

Lost deep within

Evolution

The demons of this troubled mind
viciously remove my insides
I'm lost Within a shattered bind
Disintegrating in this darkened tide

My strong disbelief of unlit joy
Has altered my mind of perception
My shadow quivers afraid and coy
A darkened fairytale of untold deception

Indignant eyes, filled with hurt and rage
Pieces of my life lay scattered upon the floor
Another passage way to an endless page
My broken mind, so ravaged and sore

Hardly am I noticed
For I'm drifting just to die
A pale face so shaded over
Trembling gray floating in the sky

Now I feel the pain of dilution
And I'm Barely even alive
Yet I break upon this fleshy contusion
I Break free from this hive

I awaken from this quiet sleep
Realizing I have not died
An oblivion built oh so deep
Broken from this tide

This vast and darkened ocean
Cascades far beyond my reach
agonizing with pure emotion
Lessons hoped to teach

Nothing amongst the living
Everything is far beyond this life
Nothing helping or for my giving
Tender mind so lost in strife

So now I'm Lost inside a world
A world of pure pretend
Forcing my body to come unfurled
Hoping that this will end

Now I lay upon the concrete ground
And linger in the sun
A spark of life begins to pound
The blood begins to run

Deeper than this ocean of black
My blood works through it's course
Hoping and praying to take this back
Searching to find a source

A Life amongst the dreaded
One living cell in just a gust
For my life was not beheaded
I simply lost all trust

Evolving to a new being
Changing over the years
A world finally worth seeing
I wipe away my tears

A tender Life begins to emerge
That was taken from it's place
A shock so vivid from this surge
Drifting out from space

Growing, breathing, living
Deranged, but approaching the land
Now I am the one that's giving
Crawling out from the sand

My first steps will now be taken
Surviving just for me
This time I won't mistaken
This is something yet to see

For now I am finally Reborn
A version far beyond my previous
A life so damaged, broken and torn
This path is oh so devious

I know this time I'll find my way
It's time I took a stand
I know so sure because of the memory
The day I crawled out from the sand

Raven-Crow

Death creeps silent
Shattered orb of time
Whispers in the night
Burn this fragile line

I soar high above
My wings brace like steel
Raging indignation
The only thing I feel

I carry you high
Your soul and your mind
I'm destined to do this
I revive you, we bind

I'll take all your torment
Wash it all away
I'm the reaper of gloom
They slowly will pay

Taking what was wrong
And Making it right
I'm bleeding out for you
I Take you on this flight

I'll wait and I'll watch
Revenge is my game
Torture them slowly
They'll soon know my name

Devoured in silence
Abrupt from my glow
Silent in the shadows
I am your Raven-crow ​

Thank you. My GF cried when I showed it to her for the first time so yea, and everyone else I showed it too said it was really good. And NP, there's people likle you out there, just remember that.

Is it a sin to want to be with you every second of the day,
