okk in starcraft broodwar i have 5 computers networked on router with cable ok now me any my brother wanna play together on battle.net we go and join a game toghter and in game it lags so bad but if one of us leave then it flys liek anything


no plz can u help me plz plz plz help plz desent

Why dont you dis the router from the comps? My friend had this prob he just un-hooked his cables, and played away.

I use a router, and have zero lag, but there could be many things to cause lag.

You said you use cable, I hear almost as many complaints about lag from cable users as dial-up. Simply because the cable is shared by everybody down the street. They offer 1.5 meg connection, you will probably never see it consistantly.

Are your PCs up to todays standards, or are they old, slow, and no graphic card.

Are all extra periferals turned off, downloads, file sharing, so on, anything that uses bandwidth, or processing power.

It may just come down to opening the ports for Bnet.
Open port 4000 and port 6112.

Also try going to this page, and do a test, if anything is wrong, it should help you correct it.

What exacly r those 5 comps for?

Yeh just have 2 of them hooked up. Also, like Supermouse said, if you have slow processor, you can lag too. P4 With 56k will probobly lag less then a 133 with cable.
