Please help!

Hello I am new to this forum and have read a bunch of the post and everyone hear seems very smart and nice. So I am hoping someone can help me.Im looking to get two files pickit and some type of bot. But mostly am interested in pickit because the bots seem like they are very difficult :goofy . Can anyone tell me were I can get a good copy of pickit or whatever is the fastest auto pick up tool. And what I will need to do to use it. I am currently running diablo 2 lod from the cd rom but have it installed on my computer.Please be patient with me I am computer literate but have never messed around with this stuff. And if anyone wants to take the time to give me a run through and wear and what to get for a bot I would be greatly appreciative.

Thank you coolmission I appreciate the patience with a complete newbie. The only problem is that the mirror links dont work and does it matter which mirror to use?

Well this looks fairly easy we will see when i get home lol at work right now. My only question other than the mirrors is when installing clite if i dont see the ini file you said the exe file will create one? how will it do that. after i copy it to the pluggin file?

alright, thanks for telling me! i wrote this guide at my own board and whn I brought it to battleforums I simply copy pasted and the links disappeared. thanks again ! You can try again now.

c-Lite is some kind of editor for zpickit. It helps you create your own customized ini (the file which includes the information about the items that should be picked up). If there is no default zpickit.ini found, it will create a new one with the items that you want.

Hello well i believe I have done everything right but when i open clite and copy the exe file in the same folder is old pickit ini and current zoids.ini with other files in it should i copy one of those also and put it in the pluggins folder.Also the pluggins folder did not have anything in it to begin with. And just one more question when I went to windows explorer and program files found d2 that is what you are calling the directory correct? and the diablo 2 icon is an exe file is that the one I rename?

Ok not sure whats going on when i click on the diablo 2 icon the game boots but when i click on battlenet it says cannot connect if using a cable modem.blah blah but my connection is good cause im writing this. Plus I cant find were the section is in your tutorial.

Sorry to be a bother but Im hoping I didnt mess anything up.
