i dloaded a patch called "superboss mod" and forgot to copy the patch_d2.mpq and its wont let me play online.
i re-installed it like 5 times but it says if u are on am modem...etc... plz help me....i live for this game..lol

Try www.blizzhackers.com for the Older files. If not, save all your mods into a folder (out of the d2 directory), and reinstall.

koa thanks for your input, but i have no mods.
i deleted them all.
and ive reinstalled it 5 times each time i went and did a clean swaep of all left over files.
but thanks for your time.
any more idea's?

You reinstalled the Mod or the game 5 times? And if you can't go online, maybe it's a Open-Only mod?

no i total deleted the mod...i try to play clean i was just bored...
i reinstalled the GAME 5 times...or mabey 6...

i think the prob is patch_d2.mpq i dont c it anymore...and it had me replace it with the moded version and i 4got to make a copy of origon al =*( u kno whaere i could get it or....what i can play the game perfect just not on any battle net non of em...

Well hmm....let's see...I'll ask around and see if I have anyone who knows where patch_d2.mpq is hosted, but not much luck. I suggest trying Blizzhackers, as they may have the original patch_d2.mpq you're looking for.
