Hello, i have a little problem.

My cdrom drive makes noise during the night, and the room of my baby is near.

It isn't possible to use a crack no cd ?

I didn't find one, and D2Loader seems to be detectable :\

Help :)

only way woudl be to use a d2loader. you already seem to know the answer to your own question.

d2loader is made to play without a cd, so why do you think theres multiple methods of doing it? thats like asking for a color of red when you already are holding one in yoru hand...

You can always make an Image of the CD using GameDrive then mount the Image of the CD on a virtual drive. Thats what i did.

I did it ;)

But it says insert Cd ~~

Mounted with Daemon Tools :\
maybe you should change your CD-Drive letter in registry (daemon tools cd-drive letter is different from physical drive's).
1) Start->Run .. type regedit and press enter.
2) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II (with tree that is on the left panel).
3) On right panel double-click on key with name DiabloIICD.
4) Change its value to daemons tools drive's letter ( eg. F: )

Doesn't work. Warcraft is the only one that has the registry keys for drive location.

I have the same problem except I'm using alcohol 120%. My friend has a cd emulator that is now illegal that he is able to do it with its like peragon or something like that.

I also tryed creating my own key, but I already knew that wouldn't work because its a variable that diablo II doesn't use.

Weird.. i have this key in registry.. And here (it is for using wine but it should work under windows too) is said too that you can change drive letter from registry.

I also tryed it with my warcraft expac cd and changed the drive letter in the reg but that didn't work either. It still trys to run the cd from the H: (my vertual drive that I set it to) rather than hte normal cd drive.

I'v was looking at something last night, not sure what but it didn't have anything to do with this. But it also sayed something about the DiabloIICD reg key.

Double post :)

Ok, after playing around with Alcohol 120% and looking around the Daemon tools forums for about an hour I finally found a solution. When you go to make the cd make sure you select SecuDISC NEW* not the new 4.x.xx crap just new. It works fine now. Gunna try it with frozen throne while I take a shower. Tell you how that goes also.

So now I can run SC and D2 without the disk.

Double post :)

I got it to work. It has to do with when you make hte image. For diablo II you need to select secuDISC NEW* (not NEW* 4.x.xx/5.x.xx)
