About 4 years ago or so, you could use Zap! Placer to do the same thing! I did, and I still use it ^_^.

StarDraft had square terrain? I thought you had to use ISOM with it. Of course, nowdays you can just use starforge or scm draft so it doesn't matter :p

and btw, thread starter d00d, if you edit a map with a regular editor that has square terrain it will show up as rectangular, too.

You need to activate ISOM, set Integer to 0 then run a map editing program like StarDraft or Zap!. But I believe that's on the old ones.

You can use isom to do it, and then open it in the normal editor, but its pretty weird to edit.

Otherwise use scmdraft etc.

ok DO NOT use isom! i've used it for all my square maps, but as i'm starting a new map involving square terrain, i decided to look into some of the ones above.. starforge rocks my world, it was hands down better than the rest of the square terrain editors, and if you cut off both my hands, gouged out both my eyes, and let me use starforge, i'd be better off than using isom now.. i never thought square terrain could be so damn easy :p
