Planning on getting another copy of d2 expansion.

My brother wants to get another copy of LOD because he wants to quest with me. I say great, but I have a question, to play on bnet, you only need to buy the LoD expansion right? I already have one copy of diablo 2 classic, so I do'nt need to buy another one to play another LoD right?

You really only have to have 1 copy, it's the CD keys you need two of...and you'll need two for each if you want to play together

You could use a loader for each, a no-cd loader and then use seperate CD key's. That could work. Guru is right as well.

Yea i already tried that and it WILL NOT WORK with out separate cd-keys srry.

the cd key has to be diablo 2 expansion cd key right? and if I install it with the same diablo 2 classic it still works on bnet together right?

Well I need 2 cd keys... one for D2 classic and one for expansion :'(
